The third China-Europe Scientists Forum will be held from October 27 to 31,2026, at the SAALBAU Griesheim Conference Center in Frankfurt, Germany. The event will feature an opening ceremony, a main forum, 12 parallel sessions, and a gala evening. Approximately 400 participants from Chinese and European academia, industry, and government sectors are expected to engage in exchanges and collaborations on cutting-edge research achievements in artificial intelligence, biomedical applications, new energy and carbon neutrality, embodied intelligence, complex systems, smart cities, advanced materials, and biopharmaceuticals. Additional venues include Wenzhou (October 24), Vienna (October 28), Leukerbad, Switzerland (November 2), and Budapest, Hungary (November 13). All stakeholders are encouraged to register for participation.

1. About the China-Europe Scientists Forum

The China-Europe Scientists Forum was jointly initiated in December 2023 by more than 30 renowned scientists from numerous countries including China, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Spain, and Hungary. The forum aims to strengthen academic exchanges and cooperation between China and Europe and promote people-to-people friendship between the two regions. The China-Europe Scientists Forum is a new open collaborative platform, with its legal entity registered simultaneously in Paris, France, and Cologne, Germany as a non-profit association.

The inaugural China-Europe Scientists Forum was successfully held in Frankfurt, Germany in October 2024. The second forum took place in Heidelberg, Germany in early November 2025. 

The third edition will be convened at the SAALBAU Griesheim Conference Center in Frankfurt from October 29 to 31,2026. Among them, the 27th and 28th are for closed-door meetings and inspection matchmaking with invited experts, the 29th is for a closed-door meeting of the organizing committee, the 30th is the main conference, and the 31st is the end. On the 29th, all participants are required to check in. Through concerted efforts, the forum has consistently served as a pivotal platform driving advancements in science and technology across Europe and globally, featuring over ten specialized parallel sessions and establishing itself as the largest scientific event led by Chinese communities in Europe.

4. The Success of Previous Events

From October 20 to 21,2024, the inaugural China-Europe Scientists Forum was successfully held at the SAALBAU Titus Forum International Conference Center in Frankfurt, Germany. Scientists, scholars, and entrepreneurs from China, Europe, and around the world gathered to discuss technological innovation, cross-border collaboration, and future development. The event attracted over 200 Chinese and international scientists in person, with more than 50,000 viewers watching the live broadcast online.

From October 31 to November 2, 2025, the second China-Europe Scientists Forum was successfully held at the Burgerhaus Conference Center in Heidelberg, Germany. Under the theme "Bringing China and Europe Together, Linking Science Globally," the forum focused on interdisciplinary collaboration in high-quality development and cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence between China and Europe. Through a combination of a main conference, six offline parallel forums, and multiple online sessions, it established an open, inclusive, and efficient international platform for scientific cooperation, injecting new momentum into technological exchanges and practical collaborations between the two regions.
